i cracked. only day two, and i already cracked. breakfast i had (again) beans, cheese, 1 taco shell, lettuce, salsa, some meat and two cups of coffee. went on an hour and a half bike ride, got back and then had a cucumber and about 3/4 cup of berries. went to work and had two peaches, about a cup of yogurt and three pieces of hard candy. late lunch/early dinner at 5 and had okanomiyaki (kind of like a pancake with cabbage, egg, squid, cheese and some mayo). went back to work and had three cookies a student had brought me (not happy about that), came home and i had about 5 hazlenuts. i’m hungry. i want to eat. *sigh* i’m thiking… eat something then a 30 min. workout and go to bed. good grief though, will i ever get there? oh- and the scale was at 56.1 this morning. not good. not good at all.
That doesn’t sound so bad! Sure you “could have” picked a better snack than the cookies, or had just one, BUT I think those random, surprise things (like snacks for gifts) are really HARD to work with, and you should NOT beat yourself up over that. Maybe next time you’ll get a watermelon or a giant fish.

Just don’t get down on yourself. Find something positive to focus on, like that awesome work out you had on your bike! Getting that cardio in is gonna be 1,000x better for your body than never eating sweets would be.
That pancake, sounds - like something I would try.
How did you fare after all?
I agree. None of what you ate seems that bad.You did great with the bike ride. THAT’S AWESOME! I have always thought too that you should write in a treat for yourself everyday…into your daily calories. That way a cookie or 2 won’t make you feel guilty & you get something you like.
I have to agree does not sound to bad.. yep cookies not the best but it was only three..
You are doing great and keep doing what you are doing. it is not always easy for sure.

well, i ended up eating some corn and ground beef… no workout though and at this point it’s 1:20 am so i think i’m just going to sleep. tomorrow- more veggies!
